Duke is a German Shepard and Alaskan Malamute mix who has been the center of Jessica’s life for eleven years. Duke is demanding but when you think you are royalty no one expects you not to be waited on. He has a taste for the finer things in life. He spends his days on one of his many luxurious dog beds followed by a gourmet meal and then its time for a long walk (or a prance, depending on who you ask.) This dog is the definition of what a best friend should be…understanding, loyal, kind, and above all he knows the true meaning of unconditional love, expecting nothing in return, however, deserving everything. He has been so tolerant over the past few years as our pack has grown to 6 dogs. We have taken in many dogs who have needed a loving home and Duke could not have been better about sharing his beds. Every morning our pit mix, Nelly, greets Duke with lots of kisses. My love for Duke and wanting only the best products out there for him, along with my excitement in finding pet friendly, aesthetically pleasing home decor items, and my true passion for witnessing the way people bond with their dogs was the inspiration in starting URBAN PAWS.
